Kerrie was such a sweet woman. She always had a smile, hug, or piece of candy for anyone who needed it. She was a loving mother and always talked about wanting the best for her daughter. Kerrie will be dearly missed.

I have known Kerrie and Maya for serveral years now. I loved seeing how Kerrie and Maya would interact no matter if they had just seen each other that morning or after a week of being a part. Its like love filled the room everytime they were together. Kerrie was such a strong and caring woman. I felt very much a part of thier family which was an amazing feeling. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of the family and to Maya.

What moves through us is a silence, a quiet sadness, a longing for one more day, one more word, one more touch. We may not understand why you left this earth so soon dear Kerrie, before we were ready to say goodbye. But little, by little we begin to remember not just that you died, but that you lived and that your life gave us memories too beautiful to forget...
Sending love to Maya, Pops, Brenda, John, Michelle and the kids, Vicki and the rest of the family I have yet to meet. Kerrie was a beautiful lady. She inspired me every day.

Words can not express the sadness that I feel in your passing. My grandmother use to tell me that in this life you only have a handful of true friends. Kerrie was one of mine. We shared some good times as well as some difficult times in both our lives. However, through it all not time nor distance could dim the friendship that we shared or the love we had for each other. You were an incredible woman and an even awesome mother. Maya was everything to you. I am glad your pain is gone but I am sad I didn get a chance to hug you one last time. I love you my friend and our birthday will never be the same again for me.

Matt and I knew Kerrie for many years and will always remember her drive to remain positive and loving regardless of the situation. Her light truly shined when she became a mother! Our prayer is that Maya always be reminded of the amazing woman her mother was. No words can express the void in our hearts without Kerrie.

Kerrie,
I am playing our song: "Adore" - by Prince - you are such a special person to me - I only wish you could have known how much - a bright smile is in heaven now, and if our world is just a little bleaker because you left so early, heaven is just that much brighter. Thank you for being the special soul that you are - and for sharing that with us.
See you on the other side.
John

Kerrie is and always be my favorite cousin. I love her dearly and I remember when she got her very first puppy and named it cupcake. I want to actually find a puppy now and name it cupcake in memory of Kerrie, my dearly beloved cousin.

Im so glad Kerrie came into my life 10 years ago. I will treasure the times we laughed, cried and worked together. I pray Maya grows up to know what a special and loving person her mother was. I will truly miss her laugh and smile. God has another angel now with him.
